Judging Criteria

Each team will have about 5-7 minutes for your brief presentation and 3 minutes for Q&A from the Judging Cmmittee, please include the following information in your presentation:

• Introduction of your Team
• Your Product and Uniqueness
• SWOT Analysis
• Business and Marketing Plan
• Sales Techniques, and Promotion/Advertising Strategies
• Financial/Budgeting Plan
• Sales Report (How much profit you gain from selling your product in the real market?)
• Challenges and Learning Experiences in Developing and Implementing your Business Plan

1. Overall Effectiveness and Realistic of the Plan

In general, this refers to the project team’s ability to well develop the plan with the possibility of implementing and achieving the objectives of the project. It includes the following factors:
• Reasonable business analysis
• Clear and achievable marketing objectives
• Suitable and feasible marketing strategies
• Doable, effective and efficient action plan
• Efficiency in generating incomes

2. Business Analysis

This refers to the clear information of the business and situation analysis:
• Completed information of analysis
• Clear analysis of the current marketing situation and SWOT Analysis

3. Business and Marketing Plan

This refers to the project team’s ability to:
• Identify the product, price, channel, and promotion strategies that are suitable to the consumer target group.
• Identify attractive promotion and advertising strategies

4. Budgeting Plan and Efficiency to Generate Incomes

This refers to the project team’s ability to design and implement their business plan by:
• Providing clear budgeting plan
• Maximizing the available resources they have in their school in terms of money, time, facilities and human resources to be able to accomplish their objectives.
• Ability of the team to generate income and gain profit by selling the product to the real market within the short period (online and other marketing activities).

5. Innovation and Creativity

This refers to the project team’s ability to:
• Select the unique product (s)
• Adapt the knowledge from the online course and create the new way of marketing strategies and promotional materials that can attract the target consumers

This refers to the project team’s ability to:
• Provide clear, easy to understand, and attractive ways of presentation
• Finish the presentation on time (5-7 minutes)
• Provide clear photos to proof the success of the plan
